Application Forms

To apply for the Canada-China ITO Registration Program, applicants must submit the following:

  1. A completed ADS application form (Annex 1) and all supporting or required documents stipulated there;
  2. The application fee, payable to Tourism Industry Association of Canada
     
    • In the first year, applicants will submit a one-time application fee of $3,000 (plus applicable taxes)
    • In each subsequent year, a renewal fee of $1,200 (plus applicable taxes) is required;
    • If an application is denied, $500 (plus applicable taxes) of the application fee will be withheld to cover processing and administrative costs incurred.
    • TIAC reserves the right to change the fee schedule as it deems necessary.
  3. Release of Claims and Indemnity Agreement in Respect of the Application (Annex 2)
  4. Release of Claims and Indemnity Agreement in Respect of Tour Activities Carried On By an ADS Tour Operator (Annex 3)
  5. Evidence of comprehensive public liability insurance policy with minimum $1M coverage
  6. Evidence of general errors and omissions insurance policy with minimum $1M coverage
  7. Evidence of a third-party hired/non-owned/owned auto/motor coach liability insurance with a reputable insurance underwriting company in the amount required by the jurisdiction in which the vehicles operate
  8. Criminal record check(s) for the business’ owner and CEO/President
  9. Credit rating (Equifax) for the business’ owner and CEO/President
