The 2011 edition of the Tourism Industry Association of Canada’s Annual Conference; formally known as the Tourism Summit, is set to take place in Ottawa at the Fairmont Chateau Laurier in the National Capital Region November 22-24, 2011, bringing the tourism industry right to the heart of government activity in Canada.
Over the last three years, The Tourism Congress has experienced a steady increase in attendance; 421 delegates in 2010; 392 delegates in 2009 and 331 delegates in 2008. This year’s program and line-up of speakers is expected to attract an even greater level of attendance and continue the upward trend.
In addition to industry leaders, more than 15 Members of Parliament attended the 2010 event participating in either the Congress or the Canadian Tourism Awards gala. This level of engagement allowed us to show MPs first-hand some of the economic and social benefits of travel and tourism, both from a national perspective as well as on the local level.

The Tourism Congress Marketplace provides exhibitors an opportunity to increase their profile by showcasing innovative products, services and ideas to delegates at the Tourism Congress. The Marketplace is held in conjunction with the Tourism Congress, in the foyer just outside the main conference rooms. As refreshment breaks are held in this area, exhibitors have an excellent opportunity to market directly to tourism stakeholders. Exhibitors are also promoted in a special exhibition list distributed to delegates and in the conference program.

Tuesday, November 22: 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Wednesday, November 23: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Thursday, November 24: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Congress Marketplace Booth Rental Rate (includes 1 full delegate registration)
TIAC members: $1,795.00 (plus applicable taxes)
Non-members: $2,295.00 (plus applicable taxes)
Space is limited. Fees include one skirted 6-foot table; two chairs and 1 full delegate registration (value $945). Table Top displays only. Booth width is 6ft W by 7ft D. Power and internet NOT included in price.
